Built where precision
meets craft.
Every hush box is built from premium materials, acoustically measured, and thermally validated before it ships. No guesswork — only verified results backed by a two-year warranty against defects.

Acoustic Engineering
Dynamat Dynacore acoustic lining throughout, combined with Dynamat Dynapad anti-vibration decoupling. Measured 7.4 dBA of projector noise reduction — calculated from real SPL readings with room floor noise removed.
Thermal Management
Active cooling via AC Infinity fans and duct silencers, controlled by a Smart Wi-Fi temperature controller. Run your projector at full lamp or laser power indefinitely without thermal throttling or heat buildup.
Material Quality
¾" Black Diamond MDF box construction on a ¾" Birch Plywood ceiling mount. Finished in Sherwin Williams Cabinet Enamel. Optional 6061 Billet Aluminum Panamorph lens mount and 6mm OptiClear port glass available.
Precision Mounting
Pre-drilled ceiling plate fits 16" or 24" on-center joists. The hush box sits on a 3-axis leveling bed — pitch, roll, and yaw — adjusted via four hex set screws on the underside for exact projector alignment.
Every hush box from Michael Franks Design Co. is backed by a two-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

Michael Franks Design Co.
Founded on a simple conviction: that great home cinema deserves engineering that matches its ambition. What began as bespoke cabinetry for high-end AV installers evolved into a specialised practice — designing acoustic enclosures that make projector noise a problem of the past.
Based in North America, Michael Franks Design Co. works with select residential clients and professional AV integrators. Every engagement begins with a conversation, and every build ends with a handover that exceeds what was promised.
No Compromises
Every acoustic, thermal, and aesthetic requirement is addressed — not balanced against cost at the expense of quality.
Built to Last
Solid hardwood, aircraft-grade hardware, and industrial acoustic materials that outlast the projectors they house.
Invisible Integration
The finest installation is one that disappears. Your theater should feel like art, not infrastructure.
Trusted by those who demand the best.
The Meridian system transformed our theater. We measured the room after installation — the projector was completely inaudible from the seating position. That's engineering at its best.
Michael's work sets a standard I haven't seen matched anywhere in the industry. The integration with our existing millwork was flawless — clients never know there's a projector in the room.
Three years on and the enclosure performs exactly as delivered. No thermal issues, zero acoustic bleed. When you pay for quality, you expect it to last — and it has.
